Full Day of Keto Eating: What I Eat on a Ketogenic Diet

Macros on point today — a little over my fat goal, within my protein window, and under my net carbs. Clocked in at 1426 calories, 100g of fat, 14 net carbs, and 114g of protein.

I do follow a slightly higher protein regimen that many women on keto, but this is carefully calculated based on my lean body mass and exercise routine. While it can be taxing on the body to overconsume protein, you don’t want to under-consume either and I’m right in a sweet spot.

I do try to consume as much protein as I can in a natural form, however, with my caloric deficit, I do occasionally need a very lean dose via a protein powder to hit my minimum for the day without blowing my other macros out. The bone broth protein powder, to be honest, tastes like death but I find it to be a much better alternative than whey protein and it keeps me from those pesky but delicious quest bars.
