In the summer of 2017 I woke up one morning with excruciating abdominal pain and ended up in the hospital with a bad case of Epiploic Appendagitis… that diagnosis scared the you know what out of me… I was pretty overweight at the time, 260lbs and I am only 5’8” tall. I have had high blood pressure since I can remember.
But what really concerned me was something I already knew and my doctor brought to my attention was… I was the oldest living male in my family… all of the males in my family passed away before the age of 55… most from some kind of heart condition… I am 51… so I figured I better make some changes if I want to spend some more time on this earth with my family and friends… I have a lot of things I still want to do in this lifetime.
